Python is the most common first programming language, and YouTube has several complete, free Python courses that are as good as paid ones. The hard part is choosing one and getting to the end. Below are the Python courses students are studying on Studyio right now, most studied first, each turned into chapters with notes, a quiz after every chapter and a certificate at the end.

How to choose

  • Complete beginner? Pick a course that starts from installing Python and explains variables, conditions and loops slowly. A shorter course you finish beats a 40-hour one you abandon.
  • Know another language? A single full-length course moves faster and covers more of the language in one go.
  • Want data or web work? Learn the basics first, then continue with a course in data or web development.
  • Prefer Hindi? Several of the most popular Python courses are taught in Hindi or Hinglish; the course titles and channel names show which.

How to get through it

  1. Code along: pause, type the example yourself, and run it before moving on.
  2. Keep the important snippets in your notes with a timestamp (press T), so you can find the explanation again.
  3. Answer the quiz after each chapter; a wrong answer links to the moment in the video that explains it.
  4. Set a deadline and study a little every day. One chapter a day finishes most beginner courses in a few weeks.
