About Studyio

Studyio turns free YouTube playlists and videos into courses you actually finish: chapters you tick off, notes beside the video, a short quiz after each chapter, and a certificate at the end.

Why it exists

Some of the best teaching in the world is on YouTube, free, from teachers who explain a subject better than many paid courses. But YouTube is built for watching the next video, not for finishing a course. Long playlists don't remember where you were, notes end up in another app, nothing checks whether you understood, and the recommendations are always one click away. Plenty of people who start a long YouTube course never reach the end.

Studyio keeps everything that makes YouTube great, the teachers and the price, and adds the structure of a course around it.

What we believe

  • Learning should stay free. Every feature a student needs to finish a course is free.
  • Creators come first. Videos always play from YouTube, in YouTube's player, credited to the creator. We never download, copy or edit them. More for creators.
  • Finishing beats starting. Progress, quizzes, flashcards, streaks and deadlines are all there to get you to the last chapter and remember it.
  • Your notes are yours. Download them or all your data at any time, and delete your account whenever you like.

Who makes it

Studyio is made by Siddhaj Periwal. Every course anyone adds goes into a shared library, ready for the next student, and feedback from learners shapes what gets built next: use Send feedback in the app's menu, or write to siddhajperiwal@gmail.com.
