Studyio vs SyncStudy
Studyio (studyio.in) and SyncStudy (syncstudy.in) both turn a YouTube playlist into a course you can track. They are different products from different teams. Here is how they compare, including where SyncStudy does more.
We checked SyncStudy's website and pricing page on 1 November 2026. "Not listed" means we couldn't find it there, not that it can never exist. Spot something out of date? Tell us on the contact page.
The short answer

Where Studyio is different
Quizzes are free, and come after every chapter
Testing yourself is the most reliable way to remember what you watched (see the science of studying). On Studyio every chapter ends with a short quiz, and questions you got wrong come back later on your dashboard. Quizzes for Hindi and other non-English courses can be switched to the course's language.
A course library you can try before signing up
Browse courses other students are taking, preview them and check any playlist link without an account.
A certificate that can be checked
Finish every chapter, take its quizzes and get at least half the answers right, and you get a certificate with a public link anyone can open to confirm it's real.
Fair to creators
Videos play in YouTube's own player with the creator's ads, and we never block or skip them. Read what this means for creators.
Where SyncStudy does more
- Chapter-by-chapter trackers for exam syllabi such as JEE, NEET UG, UPSC CSE, GATE, SSC CGL, CUET and CLAT, with exam countdowns.
- A Chrome extension.
- A study planner and calendar, and a doubt-solving chatbot on its top plan.
Frequently asked questions
Is Studyio the same as SyncStudy?
No. Studyio (studyio.in) and SyncStudy (syncstudy.in) are separate products made by different people. Both turn YouTube playlists into courses, but they include different features.
Is Studyio a free alternative to SyncStudy?
Yes. On Studyio's free plan you get up to 3 courses at a time with chapter quizzes, flashcards, rich notes with timestamps, streaks and a certificate. On SyncStudy, quizzes and rich notes are on the paid plans (as of 1 November 2026).
Which one should I use for JEE, NEET or UPSC?
If you want a tracker for the official exam syllabus with countdowns, SyncStudy has one and Studyio doesn't. If you study from YouTube lectures and want to test yourself after every chapter, Studyio gives you a quiz after each chapter, in Hindi too, for free.
Can I move my courses from SyncStudy to Studyio?
Yes: paste the same YouTube playlist link into Studyio and it becomes a course with the same videos in the same order. Your notes and progress from another app don't carry over.
